About Samantha
My name is Samantha Seward! I have an Associates in the Science of Teaching from Baton Rouge Community College, and in May 2019 I will be graduating with my Bachelor's of Science in Education. I am currently student teaching second grade and loving every moment. I am a passionate educator that strives to instill a love of learning in children. I'm a firm believer that every child needs a teacher who will meet their needs for each and every lesson. I hope to talk to you soon!
I am passionate about instilling a love of learning in children. I want to make each and every child realize that they have the potential to be successful.
I have an Associates in the Science of Teaching and I'm months away from my Bachelor's in Science of Education. I have over 500 hours of direct teaching experience in the classroom.

It's important to build a relationship with the child and understand their learning styles and strengths and weaknesses. I start with that briefly. Then I assess the child to see what he or she needs. After identifying the need, I will develop lessons catered specifically to that child.
