About Keinan
Hello!
My name is Keinan and I have been a teacher for 12 years. I Have a license in Special education K-6th grade. I work in an ICT (inclusion) classroom setting in a public community school. I excell at creating modified lessons to help students from all levels achieve their academic goals. I am very savy in creating worksheets and graphic organizers to help students gain important skills and knowledge that will be the building blocks for high success in their academic careers.
Accomplishments: Tenure, 5th grade team leader, Head of theatrical technical department, NYC DOE Office of Leadership Alumni Association, Leader In Me Lighthouse status team member
I love working with kids. I love being able to guide them through the discovery and understanding of knowledge that will be essential to helping them become the successful contributing members of society that they can be. I enjoy creating a classroom environment that is built on trust, comfort and enjoyment. I feel that having fun in the classroom is essential to helping students gain the knowledge and skills learned in school.
In college I wanted to manage concert venues. After graduating, I went to work in the events industry. I did not enjoy the environment and realized I got the most joy when working with children (camp counselor, after school tutor, soccer/hockey coach). A few of my closest friends work in the special education field of teaching and after spending time observing their classes, I decided to go back to school to get my masters in sepcial education.

In my opinion, I think that Mr.Lee-Zampi is a pretty cool teacher. He is a good teacher but he also make learning fun. He is also really funny while still staying on topic about the subject. He is fun on trips but he also make sure that kids pay attention and behave.
These are some reasons why I think Mr.Lee-Zampi is a cool teacher. He makes learning fun but he still stays on topic about the subject. For example when we’re doing a lesson about Historical Fiction we learned about different sailors and their history but he also was funny when explaining the things we need in the writing.
Another reason, is because when we went on the Staten Island Chinese Garden Trip he made sure that we listened to the women that explained the history and meaning behind the different plants, but he also was funny on the bus. The last reason, is because he is really nice towards everybody and he gives us gifts on like Halloween or Christmas he gave us books and candy, but if we misbehave he will fix the problem and tell us what's wrong.
In conclusion, I think that Mr.Lee-Zampi is a pretty cool teacher. He is generally nice to everyone and really funny on trips and while we’re learning.
I think Mr. Lee - Zampi is a great teacher. He lets us have fun while learning. Also he can make a boring subject look and sound fun so students (us) can be interested in the subjects that we are learning about.
In my opinion, I like Mr. Lee-Zampi's way of teaching because of many ways. For example, he occasionally jokes around to keep our brains awake. Also, he tries to help us, even though troubles may take us.
I think Mr. Lee-zampi is an excellent teacher because of how he treats people nicely (but just a “little” strict when we don’t do the right thing).
Mr. Lee-Zampi is one of my favorite teachers THIS YEAR because of his personality, funny, nice, respectful, and serious. Let's start with serious. During the state test, (SERIOUS MODE ACTIVATED) he told us to try our very best and that it’s important to. When Vicky didn’t have the right sticker for her booklet, he quickly called the office. When we had trouble sticking the paper on our booklet, who helps us? Mr. Lee-Zampi! I still remember once in Title 3, I needed help with my vocabulary questions homework so I asked for what the definition was but who did I ask? Mr. Lee-Zampi! Ok let's move onto the next personality(s). He are nice, respectful, and patient. Being respectful and patient is important in most things of life, and he has done it! Respectful with teachers and students, being patient with our attitude, learning way, etc. I find that I loved social studies THIS year because I would love the way that Mr. Lee-Zampi would explain history or something. When he explains something, he makes it clear to understand and to connect to! That's also probably why I would like to watch videos online called Monsters Inside Me explaining how people have parasites or something inside them and understand them. Next up, he is funny! That's my favorite personality. I love how Mr. Lee-Zampi would always try to make a joke or make us laugh for at least 5 seconds before continuing with our lesson or whatever we’re doing. I also love the fact that he always just put a unhappy opinion aside and put the good ones first. Have the same behavior as a kid sometimes like us. It's really fun! Hard for me to describe but you get it.
