About Teresa
I love everything that falls under the umbrella of English: spelling, writing, creative writing, English literature, British literature, and more! The passion of language and the different modes of communication never fail to excite me.
I do work as a substitute teacher, however, and am able to assist students in a variety of subjects: from kindergarten to grade 12 and beyond. I can work with almost any budget so, please, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a teacher. That desire to teach and help children only grew the more I learned for myself.
I have my AA degree in general studies as well as being several credits into my BA for English literature. I am a substitute teacher in Hernando County with primary experience being elementary aged children.

I start by looking at their most recent work and test scores. If they don’t have any, then I just administer a pre-test of sorts to gauge where they are academically.
I have worked with students of all academic levels and abilities: gifted, ADHD, ASD, ODD, slow processing speeds, etc.
Find a teacher who makes you want to learn! If you are bored, you aren’t going to learn anything.
My fellow teacher recently sent me a voice recording of the 3rd grade class I opened the school year for yelling, “Hi Ms. Schille!!!” It really warmed my heart to know I made such a difference and impact in the first week for those kids.
