About Katlyn
Hello! I have 2+ years of teaching experience in 9-12 English. I have primarily taught 11th grade English (including ACT prep), but I have experience teaching 9th grade, 10th grade, and Honors English as well. I have worked with full classes, small groups, and one-on-one instruction.
My Missouri Teaching License is current and I am familiar with the area school's curriculum. I have taught in the Parkway school district and the City of St. Charles school district.
I have experience teaching in-person and in a virtual setting (including virtual learning during COVID-19).
I love working with teens and helping them to grow their own potential. Navigating school during the pandemic and virtual learning can be stressful, so I want to help students adjust and continue to be the best they can be!
I have a BA in English and an MA in Education, both from Truman State University.
