About Kalin
I am a recent college graduate with a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. I also have a partial M.A. in Speech Language Pathology, a certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, and basic teaching license.
I currently work as a co-teacher at a middle school in Lawrence Public Schools. I am mainly co-teaching teaching U.S. History.
I have a personal interest in Anatomy, English Writing and Literature, and helping high school seniors complete college applications.
Looking forward to meeting and working with students!
I have worked with typical and atypical developing kids from 6 to 14 years old. I am CPR certified, Brain Injury Specialist certified, and a certified Speech Pathology Assistant. Experience gained worthing within these populations has given me insight to different learning styles and increased my empathy as a teacher.
