My first lesson is centered around finding out what the student already knows, and where the holes are in their linguistic knowledge so I can determine what to focus on. I also speak about the student’s goals and then figure out the best way to proceed. Patience and confidence in the student's ability to learn the content provided are crucial.
I have worked with students of a wide range of ages and capabilities. I have experience with children from elementary, middle, and high school as well ESL students who are beginners to the language.
