About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia and I am currently pursuing a degree in English Education from the University at Buffalo! I am currently in the honors college and I scored highly on the SAT. I have always loved helping people grow, especially in their writing. I have always loved reading and writing since I was young. When I was younger I had poor eyesight and mild dyslexia and found myself falling behind in speech and reading. Once I got the professional help I needed I couldn't put down a book! This experience made me realize that all students are capable when given the right environment.

I love watching that ah-ha moment where everything clicks.

I was very inspired by my high school teachers and I love to share my passions

I am currently taking education classes at the University at Buffalo

About the lesson

I want to feel out what a student is comfortable with and the areas they struggle in. By going over past work and working through new work we will be able to develop skills

I have mostly worked with young children below seven or older kids in high school when applying to college.
