About Ejin
Because I'm a college student and because I'm currently enrolled in courses that constantly have graded papers reviewed by the most accomplished professors, I'm always in check and have access to the most accurate, professional, and updated ways of writing, English, and grammar. I'm a junior at Northwestern University pursuing communication studies and marketing, and I've tutored kids of various levels from ESL to college students for three years in the summers.
I love being faced with such diverse levels and styles of writing, while meeting new faces. Even throughout the summer when I'm not assigned papers and assignments, I can consistently be in touch with writing, and not just give teachings to the students but also acquire valuable lessons myself through tutoring.

I usually ask to see past writing samples the student has finished that can best exemplify the student's writing skills of highest potential and efforts. From there, I try to gauge the student's level and areas that need most assistance, while keeping in mind what his/her parent wanted to gain as a long-term goal from tutoring.
I've worked with a wide range of students including an ESL student, 3rd-4th grade elementary students, 6th-8th grade middle school students, and high school student in preparation for college applications. I've also worked at SAT prep services, in which I was a TA for writing, grammar, and math.
