About Jeffrey

We provide caring tutoring and teaching. I have over 4 years of experience teaching and tutoring. I currently work for English First and teach internationally. I will travel to you or you are welcome to come to my place, I have a study and online classroom. We can also meet somewhere in public, at the library or a college. My teaching style is patient, fun and outgoing. I enjoy meeting new people and have a passion for teaching.

I enjoy meeting new people and seeing progress. I want to help you get to where you want to go!!

I got started as a paid tutor in college and the working at an after school program.

I have a Bachelor or Arts degree from the University of Iowa. I have a 160 hour TEFL certification. I currently teach online.

About the lesson

I like to get to know my student first and make conversation. I later incorporate this information onto the tutoring to assist with understanding. I gage the learning level of the student with things like concept checking questions and then move forward with the process.

I have worked with 5-12 year olds, high school students, college students and up.

Please don't be afraid to make errors and ask questions!!

I was teaching prepositional phrases in my online classroom and was very proud once the students had the moment where they understood. I eat AT lunchtime instead of on or in.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should mention strengths and weaknesses on subject matter and areas they need help. They can bring up specific questions on the subject matter.
