About Mariam
Being a lifetime learner, I love to share information, inspire, and motivate my students. I have a gift for making learning fun! As a Therapist, I seek to understand individual learning styles to uniquely accommodate the process. I have been educating and empowering students for over 15 years with much success.
I enjoy when students are confident about the subject matter taught because they understand learned concepts. It's like an awakening for both the student and for me. When students "get it", I am overjoyed and fulfilled. My goal in life is to share information and to achieve goals, large and small. Ultimately, to make learning a pleasurable experience.
I started tutoring due to the need for alternative styles of teaching to accommodate various learning styles.
I have a MSW in social work and a BA in urban education. Over 15 years of experience tutoring and motivating students to achieve their goals.
