About Alan
I have over 20 years experience as an English teacher at a well-respected public high school. I am available to help high school students with reading, writing, college essays, and SAT/ACT verbal prep.
I love to work with young people to help them develop their communication skills.
Hamilton College - 1992, BA with an English major
Tufts University - 1996, MAT in English

While it depends on what specifically I am helping with, I will take some time to assess strengths and weaknesses. At the beginning, we'll complete some reading, writing or testing exercises and develop a plan for how best to proceed.
