About Eleni
I believe that everyone can reach their learning potential and that the key to unlocking it is to understand each student individually. Tailoring a tutoring program that is enriching, motivating, educational and fun. I have taught for 28 years in Canada and currently in an International IB School. My specialization is in Primary School Education. I have a B.ED degree from Canada, an ESL University Diploma, have been trained as an IB teacher, and use brain based learning methods as well as the Socratic Seminar method to inspire and teach my students. For younger students, I use my Theatre Education training with puppets to create meaningful engaging lessons.
I love supporting students to be inspired about learning and to recognize that they are capable, creative and knowledgeable in their own unique ways. I also believe that cultivating thinking and personal creativity with a balance of caring is a way of learning that ensures our future generations can navigate this rapidly changing world successfully instead of just conforming to perform.
