About Cait
I am a high school English teacher with a love for teaching students about effective reading/writing. I have two Bachelor's degrees from FSU: one in English with a focus on Creative Writing, and one in Psychology.
I love being the person to introduce a classic text to a young person and make it accessible to them. I also love watching a student find their writing voice.
Two Bachelor's degrees from Florida State: one in English with a focus in Creative Writing, one in Psychology. I also tutored Classic Lit/Essay Writing at the local community college and babysat for multiple FSU professors.

I have worked primarily with students who are at or below reading/writing level. I have worked with innumerable races/ethnicities as well as a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
One of my students told me that she once hated literature and had never read a book before she walked into my classroom but spending the year with me let her see its value. Now she reads all the time!
