About Mayson
I love the personalization of working with students one on one, and helping the student as an individual.
I specialize in reading and writing workshops in relation to the STAAR tests, and Texas Teks/Objectives. I am also proficient in editing with a quick turnaround time. If there is no response send me a text and I will respond!
I found my calling early on playing with friends and always ended up leading the "class". I found great joy in teaching as a child's game, even tedious tasks such as grading and collecting data on students was fun! My path to teaching was reaffirmed for me Senior year of highschool, and I found not only a passion for teaching but for English. This began my lifelong passion and journey, hoping to help as many as possible.
I have a bachelor's degree from Texas State University, fully certified teacher in the state of Texas with 2 years teaching experience.
