About Kara
I have a multidisciplinary approach to both teaching and coaching. With a masters degree from the University of Chicago, I became equipped to ask productive questions that continue to encourage my path as a life long learner. The first tutoring session will be getting to know your goals, and establishing a plan of how I can best support this stage of your journey. I coach teachers and administration on best practices for supporting student behavior, and teach public school students the range of disciplines. My strengths are clarifying questions; establishing goals and benchmarks; and detailing progress with encouragement.
