About Julia

My 14 years of experience teaching has provided me the opportunity to learn what works and what doesn’t when it comes to adapting to a student's needs. I can quickly assess a his or her strengths and weaknesses in order to customize my approach. My breadth of knowledge of music allows me to draw from a wide range of resources to keep students interested and challenged.

I love seeing the moment a concept “clicks” for a student. I love when I can see that a student feels pride in overcoming a challenge.

About the lesson

I have worked with students as young as 3 years old and as old as 60! My students' abilities have ranged from complete beginner to graduate level.

I would highly recommend her for students of any age - she seems to be able to find a way to communicate effectively with broad range of people. I worked with her for several years and could not be more positive.
