About April
I am a very patient person and am willing to find what works for your child. Learning is not a "one size fits all" program. Children learn differently and I love to find out what will work for your child. I have a passion for reading and writing and want every child to enjoy it as much as I do.
I had an amazing english teacher when I was in second grade and she made me want to be a teacher. Working with children can be a challenge at times but it is so rewarding at the end. I want to make learning fun so that not only does the learning "stick" better but so that the child is having fun as well. Learning should be fun!
Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in elementary education from SHSU.
