About Miguel
Hello guys, I am a student-athlete from Portugal studying in a college in NY. My native language is Portuguese but I started to learn English and Spanish when I was around 12. I am a sophomore and my GPA is 3.96! I have done all my required English classes and I had A on every class, so I can tutor English until a medium/advanced level. I am pretty good doing essays. During my 2 years in the US I have been living with hispanic people so I practice my Spanish everyday and I have tutored high school kids. Those kids have had amazing results after tutoring sessions with me. Portuguese is my native language so I can tutor it pretty well too!
Due to Covid-19 my tutoring session are online on zoom! If you are interested on them please contact me!
Thanks,
Miguel Fernandes
My professor in college told me I was pretty good at it and knowing that I am an international student-athlete trying to make some money recommended me to try.
I have tutored many high schoolers during 2020.

Getting to know him and his struggles. That way I can choose the best technique to help him getting better.
High school kids and college freshman students.
Try to find a teacher that will have many techniques and ways to help you. There are many different types of students and not everyone will succeed with the same old way of teaching.

I have worked with Miguel since 2 years ago. My tennis level raised a lot! He is a cool guy and can make the classes very fun but technical at the same time!
Very good tennis player and coach! Can teach all different levels and it's very kind and comprehensive.
