About Fanny
As a born and bred Swede I am fluent in all things Swedish. Luckily growing up I was fortunate enough to vacate to Los Angeles a lot and so by the time I was 10 I was pretty fluent in English. Alongside the traveling, I would watch t.v and read books and have books read to me all in English. This is something I believe really helped me develop my passion for learning the language. It is also a technique I use in my teachings.
I moved to Los Angeles in August 2017 to study Acting. This is where I realized how good at English I truly was. No one suspected I was an international. I ironed out my "Swedish" sounds in Voice class, where I learned how to change the position of my vocal instruments.
Through my training, I learned techniques on how to support others, how to educate others, and how important knowing and understanding English is.
All these things I learned I now want to pass on to you.
I started helping my friends and family members out with their English homework for school and after a while, of really enjoying it, I decided to start helping more people than friends and family and also make some money doing it.

I like to teach my students the same way I learned English in the first place; listening to it and reading it, explaining what I'm hearing/reading, talking/telling stories, analyzing texts/videos in English and writing short stories.
Mainly younger.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I'd like for my students to know what they need help with the most so that we have somewhere to start; maybe it's reading, writing or understanding that you struggle with and we could start with some easy exercises.

Fanny was a life saver. I moved here 10months and my English really wasn't good. I was struggling to find work because my accent was thick and i was struggling understanding what the interviewer was saying to me. Fanny was very patient, first off she helped me reduce my accent on the words i did know, alongside introducing me to new words through reading aloud, watching a friends eposide with subtitles etc. Setting me challenegs such as reading books in English also really helped me. She was so supportive and after a month i landed myself a job!
Extremely calm and patient, she definitely knows what she’s talking about. Overall a great teacher and a lot of fun to work with!
