About Tess
Throughout middle and high school, I was a peer tutor in English, Spanish, Latin, History, and Math. In college, I have had the opportunity to be a tutor to children ages 6-12 in any homework subject area they required.
I bring a positive attitude to every working environment. I believe in patience with students and learning about the individual aspects of each student in order to promote the best learning experience for them.
I love to see students succeed. The best part of teaching and tutoring is watching the progress a student makes. It's important to share in the joy of their accomplishments because each milestone deserves to be celebrated and recognized.
I have been a tutor for the last 8 years.
I spent the summer of 2018 working as a paraprofessional in Carver Public Schools with the Kindegarten-Second Grade Special Needs classroom.
I interned at Neighborhood House in Morristown, NJ as a Homework Center assistant and an assistant teacher in the Preschool program.

Deadly! Tess is prepared, prompt, enthusiastic, and caring. She is very experienced and easily adapts her lessons to the individual child's needs. My child looks forward to her lessons with Tess and I can definitely see her progressing. I am so glad we found her!
