About Mariquita

I am a Canadian who grew up in Ecuador so I am very fluent in Spanish. I have a degree in nursing, business and public health. My name from birth actually is Mariquita which means Ladybug, not…

I have taught ESL at night at my church for 5 years.

My daughter Anna is also an english tutor and works well with girls in their 20’s. In my day job I am a workers compensation nurse, I attend appointments with hispanics injured at work and interpret for them. I work with a lot of injured workers in construction, landscaping, housekeeping, factory and service industries.

My teaching style is more like coaching with focus on speaking. We will find out what you need to improve your life in America and make it happen together!
