About Steven Mark
I have lived nearly thirty years in Europe teaching in various institutions and connecting with students across many different cultures. I have traveled to every country in Europe and every continent and have found people similar wherever I go. I have a passion to help people communicate their very best. This may mean helping someone learn English as a foreign language or to write more clearly or powerfully. I have written two dissertations, published a book, and corrected hundreds of essays. I can help you to become a stronger and more dynamic communicator.
I have served in ministry since my college days and often combined ministry with education. I completed my first doctorate when I was 29 and began teaching soon afterwards. I also was a substitute teacher for one year in a school district in the Greater Houston area.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and two earned doctorates in Theology. I served as an Academic Dean at a Polish Seminary and have been a guest professor in six different countries. I have also taught at the university and seminary level in the United States.

I try to get to know the student and his/her best approach to learning. Some like to think out loud while others internally process but either way, I try to engage in such a way that makes learning enjoyable. Most students have great ideas and simply need some guidance in speaking or writing.
I have worked with students ranging from elementary age through graduate school and across a dozen nationalities.
