About Joshua
Hello, my name is Josh Burlile. I have taught English including spoken English (pronunciation, intonation, etc) as well as written English for over 8 years. I specialize in teaching academic and workplace English to speakers of other languages. In the past I have worked with refugees, immigrants, college students, and high school students. I spent 4 years working at The Ohio State University teaching international students how to be successful communicators in the classroom as well as effective teachers. This can be you too!
My focus during sessions is on doing. Practice makes perfect! The more you step outside your comfort zone to make mistakes, the more you will improve in your language proficiency.
I customize all my lessons to the individual learner. Tell me what you want to work on, or we can discover that together! Looking forward to working with you.
