About Durgaprasad
Durgaprasad Rao is one of the topmost Hindustani Classical Flautist in India, popular for his emotionally expressive and soulful renditions. He is a master of the intricate Drupad & Tntrakari Ang of Maihar Gharana founded by Baba Allauddin a court musician for the Maharaja of Maihar in around 1935. Shri Durgaprasad is a prominent disciple of the legendary flautist Padmavibhushan Hariprasad Chaurasia.
He is a dedicated teacher who has trained over 300 students all over the world through his successful gurukula and online
