About Konstantin

I am a highly organised, outcome-driven and motivated professional music teacher with solid experience of 15 years. I am very comfortable with all aspects of teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone colour, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition, and reading and listening skills. I possess solid understanding of these concepts and skills in the context of various musical styles, periods and genres. I am fully qualified with a Master's Degree in music from Moscow State University. I am proficient in a collection of brass woodwind instruments, such as saxophone, flute and clarinet.

Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I strongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. You will find me to be a down-to-earth and amiable person, with excellent communication skills and professional presentation. My empathy and my interpersonal skills enable me to freely discuss any matter of concern with both students and parents of diverse social backgrounds. I believe this is a role to which I could bring great value, exercising and broadening my music teaching experience, and helping students develop their talents while nurturing their passion for music.

People were always interested in my techniques of playing saxophone and flute, so I decided to become an educator after I realized that I could easily transform my knowledge to people that had the passion to play.

In short time I learned that I could transform my knowledge through passion and help my students truly understand the instruments and techniques of playing them.

As an artist knowing that I can help people find their passion and tap into their talent gives me fulfilment.

I have a Master degree of Music Pedagogy from Moscow State University of Culture and Arts.

I had the privelege to learn from some of the best teachers in the industry. I've also created unique ear-training method that helps beginners to recognize the chord progressions and notes.

About the lesson

I'm always curious about student's experience in ear-training, solfeggio, piano. Besides individual daily routine which consists of breathing, tone, technique exercises and tunes we develop ear-training skills that help improvising.

I have worked with variety of students in all ages.

I'm able to adapt my teaching skills to all levels of students by understanding their needs and capabilities.

Look for the teacher who really lifts you up, who loves to teach, who has fun playing the instrument, who believes in you more than you believe in yourself, and make sure you really like how your teacher plays the instrument.

I believe that students should ask any question regarding their needs, as a teacher I would encourage my students not to leave anything behind that would help them learn.

Details

My standard pricing system is simple. If I travel to a student it's $100 for 90 minutes or $70 for 60 minutes. If student travels to my place it's $30/30min, $50/60min and $80/90min
