About Keri

Since discovering the world of speech language pathology I have been driven to help others to find their "voice." Supporting others in their goal of becoming competent and confident communicators is what I do best! I have worked with students from birth through the golden yeare and provided everything from accent modification to feeding support. Reducing the fear of public speaking is another passion of mine and I have over 13 years of experience in this area.

I have been a certified Speech Language Pathologist since 2012. I hold a Master of Science degree with a certificate of clinical competence granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MS, CCC-SLP). I hold a state license to practice as an SLP in Virginia and Pennsylvania.

I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a focus on public speaking and cross-cultural communication.

I enjoy that every aspect of speech and language support is complex and challenging. Seeing a student overcome these obstacles is what makes life as an SLP so great! It is not about the teacher, it's about the student and seeing them connect with others in a way they never thought possible.

My first experience teaching was in 2006. I was lucky enough to instruct a summer public speaking class and have been teaching ever since.

I hold a Master of Arts in Mass Communications with a focus in public speaking and cross-cultural communication (awarded in 2009).

I also hold a Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology and have been practicing since 2012. I carry a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MS, CCC-SLP) and a state license to practice in Pennsylvania and Virginia.

About the lesson

After getting to know a little more about you, and conducting a baseline evaluation, we will work together to establish the best approach to meeting your goals quickly and efficiently.

I have worked with students at birth, those in their golden years, and everything in between! I have worked with students learning the English Language as well as those recovering from a stroke. I have worked with businesses to improve public speaking and marketing skills, but I have also worked with students on the autism spectrum to find their "voice" and learn language for the first time.

Lessons are not one size fits all! Do not be afraid to critique your instructor if you do not enjoy their style of teaching. You are paying for a service and you want to find the best possible fit.

I love anything outdoors and take all opportunities possible to enjoy a hike with my dog.
