About Kimberly
I have 30 years of experience in communication, speech training, and accent reduction. As a qualified professional in communication, I am an ideal speech coach to help individuals who would like to reduce their foreign accent or help native speakers who would like to reduce their regional accent in order to reach personal, professional, and educational goals.
A personalized and individualized plan will be developed to help you attain speech sound patterns, pronunciation, intonation, and stress patterns of the Standard American Dialect. The benefits of accent reduction can help you 1) improve communication efficiency at work, in social situations, and over the phone, 2) increase job effectiveness and performance, 3) enhance confidence in speaking up at meetings and discussions, and 4) improve opportunities for job advancement.
I have a 30 year background and Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology with clinical expertise in language acquisition, phonetics, phonology, and suprasegmental aspects of speech.
Based on your individual needs and goals, we will set up a weekly schedule in which a customized plan will include online instruction, training materials and home assignments, and audio recordings for instructor feedback.
