About Brandon

My name is Brandon, and my job will be to give the most learning-effective and enjoyable tutoring experience possible. Hard work is most enjoyable when both tutor and client have fun. As a current graduate student in Biblical Studies aspiring to scholarship, I am competent in the subjects I have available here, and I love the subject material. I love going through the learning process myself, and I will do my best to inspire enthusiasm in my clients.

I enjoy the subject matter. I love my field of Biblical Studies and related fields like Ancient History. Consequently, I enjoy learning and teaching languages that help in those fields. Because my long term goal is to be a professor, I also enjoy opportunities to help others learn these same fields and share my excitement with them.

I have worked with another tutoring agency since Summer 2018.

I am completing a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, which involves learning Koine Greek and Biblical Hebrew. I taught myself both languages well enough to pass into level three for both Greek and Hebrew when I started seminary, so I have learned to teach myself well in other languages like German. I also took Latin when I was an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland.

I have tutored in Greek and Latin elsewhere, and I have been successful with both.

About the lesson

I want to know what subject matter clients want to learn, why they want to learn it, and potential challenges they may have. I plan regular times to meet and agree on resources to use.

I have worked with students ranging from Middle School, High School, College, and Seminary ages.

You should look for a tutor who does two things. First, the tutor helps you understand the subject material, how it all connects, and how to communicate it. Second, the tutor shows you why the subject is interesting and why people should care.
