About Ellen
I've been playing golf my whole life and worked every job under the sun in the golf industry. I was a flight attendant which is what brought me to Charlotte. When Covid happened, I knew I was going to be furloughed so I wanted to get a job in the meantime doing something that I loved. I became the assistant golf pro at TPC Piper Glen and imediately started teaching. Once I got called back to flying I was juggling both jobs. I recently hung up my wings to teach full time and couldn't be happier.
I'm an Assistant Golf Pro and work full time as a teaching instructor.
Level 2 in my PGA PGM
I am TPI and USKG certified

I want to know what their goal is with the game. From there we figure out how to reach that goal and how long that might take them.
While lesosns on the range are helpful for technical teaching, I like to take students out on the course so they are learning how to hit specific shots that they wouldn't get on the range. Really focusing on course managment, reading greens etc.
