About Doug

Lessons from players 4 years old to 99. I take the abilities given to them and make their game the best I possibly can through instruction, training and drills.

Also, I teach how the mental preparation before making a swing can be beneficial to the overall results of your golf game.

Take a chance on me and I will make golf fun for you.

Was influenced by my uncle, who taught at some local driving ranges. And I have always had an eye for the swing and find ways to improve.

I have been in golf for over 20 years and have logged over well over 1000 hours in lessons. I keep my lessons simple and put in Layman terms for anyone to understand.

Not much into technical teaching but I do have the ability for those looking for advanced lessons or working on a specific part of the swing.

About the lesson

The importance of the pre-shot is emphasized mostly for the new golfer. From grip, stance, athletic position and mechanics of the swing will be worked on prior to hitting golf balls.

Once established, we do drills to help make repetition of the swing something involuntary as compared to the thinking process one tries when attempting to hit a ball.

From beginners to advance players, I have developed high school players into college level golfers as well as given consistency to the weekend warrior or occasional golfer.

Find someone you can have a bond with and not consider that the lesson is work. Have fun and be able to ask questions and be sure to communicate with the teacher without any worries

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would just say - see how the line of communication goes. If there is good banter besides golf, then its gonna be a success. I you cannot drum up a relationship with a teacher, or vice-versa, then it probably will not work out.
