About Mike
I have been teaching this game for over 35 years. There are few things in life that is more rewarding than helping someone! I enjoy watching a player hit a good golf after they have been searching for something they have been struggling with!
My philosophy is to simplify the golf swing to make it easier for success! The simpler he better.
I am a LifeMember of the PGA. I moved to Charlotte in 2002 as the Director of Golf at Carmel CC. I am I longer there but I have a range in south Charlotte and a course on the north side of town that I teach at.
I have worked with tour players to new beginners and truly enjoy all levels of players. Men, women and juniors are all rewarding to teach!

Deadly! Great teacher that makes me work! Can’t wait for my next lesson!
Deadly! Mike has patience and a great attitude. I enjoyed working with him and look forward to future lessons. He had great tips and insight that should make a big difference in my game and the enjoyment of the sport.
Deadly! Mike has been a wonderful teacher and completely changed my perspective on my swing. In a matter of weeks I am swinging the club on a much better plane and can feel drastic improvements. He also has a great personality and always seems to reinforce the positives of our sessions. Would definitely recommend from beginner to advanced.
