About Nick

I have been playing golf for 10 years and taught myself the game. I've had no official golf coaches and managed to get my handicap near scratch. I want to bring some of my original teaching methods to the table to help students lower their scores. I want to really identify what their game is missing and fill that gap to lower the scores.

I enjoy getting to know my players and seeing each of their unique golf swings. Golf is my passion and I want give that energy off to my students when I coach them. As a coach, I love to see the progress videos from where we started to where we are going.

As a recent college grad from his golf team, I felt like this was the natural next step. I wanted to keep in the game with any way that I could. This job connects all my passions and put them into one.

I played collegiate golf at Concordia College in Moorhead for the Division 3 MIAC conference. I consistently finished top 5 growing up in junior tournaments across the state of Wisconsin and have experience playing all different types of courses (links, country club, desert) all across the country.

About the lesson

I want to get to know the student and create a relationship that will last. As a coach, my passion is to see progress from my students and enjoy the process while teaching. I will ask the student their handicap, where they play, typical ball flight, strengths/weaknesses and goals for their game before I even look at their swing.

Primarily beginners as I believe fundamentals are the key to a consistent golf swing. I've also worked with more advanced students with handicaps as low as 6.

Focus on the relationship between you and the coach not just the content they give you. I value the relationships that I create and always want to check in and see how the student is doing on and off the golf course.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your ambitions with golf? What is your commitment level? How do you learn best? How have your past experiences framed who you are today?
