About Robert

Rob Stevens is a PGA of America, Class "A" Professional, a former tournament player and caddie with more over 25 years of playing/teaching/coaching experience. He is able to help ALL levels of golfers by communicating complex concepts in a way that is relatable and easily understood. At the same time, making the experience fun and enjoyable.

I enjoy helping people develop their own unique golf swing in a way that is easily repeatable.

I got started teaching after my playing and caddie career ended many moons ago. I was actually caddying when a player asked for some help and then said I should do this as a career because, "You are really good at this teaching thing".

I am a PGA class A teaching professional with more than 20 years of playing, coaching, and teaching under my belt.

About the lesson

Typically, I will ask the student a series of questions while evaluating their golf swing to determine what is the best plan to accomplish their golfing goals.

I have worked with all types of students in my 20 plus years. From beginners to professionals, every student can learn something new. That is why this is such a mysterious and wonderful game.

What types of students have you taught? (Beginner, advanced, professional, etc.)

What is your teaching philosophy?

I was able to speak and teach the game of golf to a group of juniors at a low income elementary school. I loved seeing them experience the joy of this great game as I did many years ago.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Why are you taking golf lessons? What do you want to get out of you golf lesson experience (expectations)? Will you be able to spend time practicing what you learn?

He was able to show me quickly what I was doing wrong and how to fit it. He also followed up with an email with drills I could do at home.
