About Jessica

There are often up to ten different ways to accomplish one thing in the Adobe programs - each way appropriate in different situations and up to your preferences - which can make working with the programs overwhelming when first getting into them. Once you get past the learning curve, as with most industry standard software, there is a robust playground of tools for you to accomplish almost anything you can imagine in your art and designs.

If you are having trouble getting started, I would love to help you learn the basics, and to whatever level you desire, we can move into the advanced techniques and work together to find your go-to tools.

I have been working with the Adobe Creative Suite for 15 years. My initial technical training is from Pratt Institute in 2011 and I am finishing my Bachelors in Creative Arts at Siena College next month. I have used these programs professionally for over ten years and have held positions both at Pratt Institute and Siena College in the Design Labs helping out my fellow students with the Adobe programs.

The majority of my experience is in Photoshop (Photo Manipulation & Digital Painting), Illustrator (Vector Illustration, and Graphic Design), InDesign(Book and Multi-page Graphic Design), Premiere Pro(Video Editing), Audition(Sound Design), and After Effects(2D Animation). However, if there are any other programs in the AdobeCC Suite that you need help with, I am confident that we can work together to learn whatever you need. I can also help with digital photography and video using DSLRs.

I love working with the Adobe programs because you can accomplish anything you can imagine. I find that helping people with the programs can also help them with their creative process as an artist or designer through building an understanding of the vastness of the possibilities.
