My teaching approach: -two music degrees -35+ years of playing experience in all styles -blend of teaching styles - theory, performance, improvisation -author of "From Bakersfield to Beale Street: A Regional History of American Rock n Roll" (2009 - Kendall/Hunt)

My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: Central Iowa (Ames, Huxley, Nevada, Ankeny, Des Moines) Guitar Techniques: Recording and Production, Song Writing, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Performance, Vocal Accompaniment, Slide Guitar, Fingerstyle, Open tuning, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar
