About Hunter

I am a qualified education that has experience with many different fields and instruments.

I have a passion for being a music teacher and working with students during their learning process is very fun.

I first knew I wanted to be a music teacher in middle school and have been building my skills and the instruments that I can play since then. I first started teaching minor lessons in high school and even more when I went to college to study music.

I have a degree in music education from the University of Idaho and have taken and taught lessons for years on various instruments.

About the lesson

I like to first find out about them and get an understanding of where they intend to get with these lessons. After that I work with them to achieve any goals they have while teaching essential music theory and picking fun and challenging music for them to play along the way.

I have worked with students ranging from 8 years old to adults but primarily students in middle and high school.

Look for a teacher that is available and passionate about learning and playing music not just someone who is skilled.

While I was doing my student teaching I had the opportunity to work with a group of students for their high school band and orchestra concert and getting to be there for the finale product when it all came together was an amazing experience.
