About Josh
I am a college student, teaching guitar to help students find what their passion is with music. I teach all ages, and teach primarily acoustic and classical.
I have been playing guitar for 8 years, and have been teaching guitar for 3 years. Playing guitar has always been my passion, and I use it on a daily basis, whether practicing, performing, or accomping .
Guitar has always been a path. It is a path to lead people to go somewhere, whether thats expressing yourself, bringing you closer to something or someone, or simply having fun! Guitar is also versatile, so it can be used in many different ways, which makes it even more meaningful.
I started my junior year of high school, and have been teaching ever since.
My training has been my musical life. I personally took six years of guitar lessons for junior high/high school. As well with that, I was involved with my schools choirs, bands, and regional and state choirs. Lastly, my mother is a piano teacher, so I always exposed to music.

First, someway to communicate, whether email, phone call, or text can answer any questions you might have.
Second, a FREE trial lesson, where I go over your goals and objectives, as well as specific songs and styles.
Lastly, setting up a routine, typically one lesson per week.
As young as 7, to as old as 25. And from almost every genre: Rock, Pop, Classical, Christian, Electric.
Look for a teacher that is flexible. Schedules and musical preferences change, so having the flexibility to change a lesson is key.
