About Thayer
Thayer Naples has been teaching professionally for over 10 years now. Graduating from Berklee College Of Music in the top 5 percent of his class as a performance major, Thayer has gone onto release 3 records to date with a 4th one coming. Do countless gigs and contracts ranging from musical theatre to top 40 / wedding gigs. Freelancing professionally in NYC for over 6 years Thayer is now back in the upper valley to teach in person and online.

I started teaching prior to attending Berklee and found a real passions and enjoyment for it. I soon realized after a short period of time that the act of teaching makes the teacher a mischievous better musician and player all around. In addition to this watching students progress is one of the most gratifying moments that I have ever experienced in my life.

First I will do an intake lesson to assess where the student is. Deciding what he /she needs to work on first to complete their goals on the instrument while maintaining complete interest in the material.
I have worked with all ages, skill levels and musical genres with students to help them realize their goals. I enjoy being versatile as a teacher and love to watch the excitement of when a student of mine learns a new lick or perfects a song the he / she has been working towards.
Look for a teacher who has real life experience playing professional as well as someone who is patient and thorough in the learning process.
