About Giselle

Giselle is a singer-songwriter based out of Jackson Hole, WY, and loves to teach others how to write and play music. She has been instructing guitar since her early high-school days, as a side job to save up for higher education. Now she is attending the University of Colorado Denver, and is double majoring as a Recording Arts and Music Business student. Here, she gets formal training on how to become a better instructor and a better musician. Giselle is willing to teach anyone who has a true passion for learning music, no matter the age or playing ability. She has roots in folk, indie music, but her teaching and playing styles range from jazz to heavy rock.

Giselle loves sharing the gift of music with others, as the experiences that music brings to people are invaluable. There is nothing more exciting than making a friend who you can jam out with!

I started teaching in early high-school, as I felt very motivated and excited to start sharing my music knowledge with others. I started teaching family members, specifically younger ones, and I found that I had a lot of fun. Ever since then, I've been teaching guitar and bass to whoever wants to!

As a child, I took several music lessons with local instructors and eventually moved on to self-teaching. I've been playing, writing, and composing music for as long as I can remember. I am only 19 now, but I started playing about 8 years ago. Within those 8 years, I have practiced and practiced so that I could pursue music as a career later in life and it has been working out wonderfully. I am currently also attending the University of Colorado Denver, as a music student and my knowledge keeps expanding.

About the lesson

I have worked with people of all ages, ranging from 9 year olds to older adults. I am also fluent in Spanish, and have taught Spanish speakers. I've worked with unwilling younger students, and have found that they still take away something valuable if given the correct approach.

1 hour lessons are $40
