About Gilberto

I provide lessons that train students the basics of songwriting, improve and ear training to write their own music or play the music they love. I am only a guide it is up to the student on how fast they wish to excel. Anything can be learned with patience and practice.

I love to give knowledge. In teaching I learn myself, music is a continuous learning experience.

Well I've always taught something from when I was young whether it was karate, wrestling or music. I find that teaching also helps me learn and relearn things.

I have been playing guitar for 15 years I have taught various ages. I have attending Jorma koukenens (guitarist for Jefferson Airplane) school for guitar. I've also graduated from full sail university. I've toured several times and played in countless bands.

About the lesson

I work with each student depending on where they are at in their guitar journey. I also take into consideration what they wish to learn. I hold clear communication and patience with each student. All around I just try to create a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

I've worked with small children to adults of various ages. From beginners to advanced players.

Look for someone that you find it easy to connect with. Someone that makes it easy for you to understand. If it sounds like they are speaking another language try someone else.

Recently I had a student who was very fond of Led Zeppelin he was about 10 and I showed I'm how he could by learning what I was teaching him write his own music like his favorite band.

I charge about 15 to 20$ an hour depending on the distance traveled I also can discuss price depending on how many times a week and what not.
