About Sean

I have been working with people of all ages for several years with the hope of making music and professional audio more accessible to those of all walks of life, with a deep focus on the practical application of music theory and improvisation.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University and have been performing and recording music professionally for since 2011

I was a self taught musician in my younger years, but really found my “voice” under a very knowledgeable music director who I worked with for the first 4 years of my career. I can say with certainty, the benefits of thorough lessons and music education cannot be overstated.

I want to teach people that music isn’t just for “prodigies,” but that anyone can find their calling with proper guidance.

Probably the most rewarding part about teaching someone an instrument is their reaction once their friends and family hear it for the first time. Those are easily my favorite phone calls to recieve.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University. I have played music for around 14 years, professionally for about 10. At my best, I had 3 performances per week for roughly 4 years.

About the lesson

I would typically prefer my student tell me what they want to learn, that way I can come up with an action plan. If the goal is to be a better musician, then the idea would be learning theory as it pertains to their instrument. If the goal is to learn the instrument, then most of the focus will be on technique primarily. These approaches can also be blended to make one full-course lesson style.

Lessons typically start at $16/half-hour, or $27/hour. For half hour lessons, the price can increase based on the experience level of the student, because I prefer not to bill a beginner as I would an intermediate musician.
