About Takim
Passionate musician/guitarist that respects the art of music. I started out teaching myself how to play the guitar 2 ½ years ago and my life has changed ever since. The guitar has brought a light to my experience like no other. I started off learning blues, rock, and funk and im now a current student at miami dade college wolfson campus to sharpen my skills in jazz. I feel the guitar came very naturally for me due to growing up in a musically oriented family. Studying musicians from the 70s and 80s helped me develop a natural connection to rhythm, sound, and musical expression. When I began playing guitar, I quickly developed a strong connection with the instrument and made a lot of progress in a relatively short amount of time. Because of my own experience, I would love the opportunity to guide other individuals on their own path of learning guitar.
