About Frostrobingmailcom

Experienced teacher of piano and guitar. I was classically trained on piano as a kid and continue to study jazz guitar privately with professors from Colombia and Berkeley. I've been on national tours with multiple bands. I can teach you a mix of jazz and classical styles, site reading, ear training, music theory, and my favorite, song writing.

I got my first student as a referral from my mother 10 years ago and have been teaching ever since.

Former music teacher at Jess and Friends in NYC. I am also a teacher for balanced guitar retreats in Costa Rica. I was classically trained on piano as a kid and come from a musical family. My dad was a Juliard trained composer and my mother is a concert pianist with a degree from Manhattan school of music. I then fell in love with guitar. I have been playing for 12 years and have been studying privately with professors from Colombia and Berkeley college of music. I have been on multiple national tours playing in different bands and continue to play shows.

About the lesson

I typically assess their level and have them learn an array of material depending on strengths and interest of the student. We could learn classical and go through etudes and site reading or we could focus more on jazz and ear training.
