About
I’m a self-taught musician. Sure, I took piano lessons as a little kid and even did guitar lessons for a few weeks as a teenager, but I gave up on proper instruction and decided to teach myself instead.
Music runs through the blood in my veins, talent abounds, but I wish I stuck with lessons because, in hindsight, I’d be even better now. I don’t want my students to make the same mistake, having to learn the hard way.
I have been playing guitar, piano, and bass for almost thirty years, and in the last few years I have started playing drums, harmonica, mandolin, violin, and trumpet. I’m a musician to my core and I’m well-versed in theory and different genres, having previously been a music instructor at a major music company.
I want my students to love music and find satisfaction and joy in learning and improving their skills. I’m a USMC Veteran and I bring the same level of dedication and high standards to my teaching and my expectations for my students.
I offer a free initial hour lesson and if we are a good match, I offer half-hour lessons at $20 and hour lessons at $35.
