About George

I am a guitar teacher and coach who promises immediate results. I bring out the fun and natural desire by teaching easy songs and ideas that the student likes. I teach very simple exercises that have a student getting the basic rules of timing, chords and the neck. Please check out Roxskool at my website (concealed information) for some of my kids performances.

I love guitar! I love the dedication and desire to perform. I love to open up the endless possibilities of music and self expression. I love to watch students learn something new, ad see it can be easier than they think.

I got fired from a job!!! Best thing that ever happened.. I put up fliers all around town and had a rockin' taeching business in about 3 weeks!! Never looked back!

I have had a successful guitar teaching business for 30 years. I am a performer, in various venues, and bands. I have doen music for films, and been in films onscreen as a musician, and I write songs and instrumental music. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston. I have done many perfrormance programs with my students.

About the lesson

I look for exactly what a potential student's ambitions are.. ( Songwriting? Metal? Blues? Rock and Roll? Jazz? Pop? ..AND what they feel their concerns, limitations, might be....and I go to work on coaching or expanding their skills, and if a beginner, then we learn something easy and fun to give them something to be able to play to boost confidence and desire.
