About Michael

I've been playing guitar for over 45 years. Classical folk rock jazz. I have a deep level of knowledge concerning music Theory.

I am a very patient and concerned individual who invests My students progress.

My students progress. I think the most enjoyable part of teaching is imparting knowledge and seeing that the student assimilates that knowledge and actually improves.

I charge $50 an hour for my lessons.

I have been playing guitar and saxophone for well over 40 years. I have taken lessons from masters for years. I'm a retired psychologist who has great communication skills.

About the lesson

I think the most important thing is to assess where the student is. Their technical knowledge their ability to physically move around the guitar etc. I think then we need to determine what the student really wants to learn and focus And the genre.

I have worked with children young adults and retired men and women.

I would take a moment and either call or visit the teacher and make sure that you can work with him or her and that they are focused on what you want to learn.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think that there are no frivolous questions if you avoid the question because you're afraid that it is stupid or is simplistic then you're doing yourself a disservice. Therefore any questions are valid and as the relationship between you and your teacher develop More questions will surface and if they don't then there's a problem.
