About David
Hey everybody! I'm a full time touring multi instrumentalist with 15 years of professional experience. Guitar is my main instrument and in my time playing I've played styles ranging from jazz to rock to r&b and everything in between on stages ranging from Radio City Music Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center to SXSW and bars and clubs all over the country. If you're looking for real world knowledge and information that will get you playing your best I can help get you there and in the process we'll have some fun music together.
A huge passion I have is sharing information, stories, and just good music with people so teaching has been something I've done since I was a teenager playing saxophone.
I've taught students guitar, bass guitar, and saxophone on and off for the past 15 while performing and touring in various groups and styles full time.

I like to have a really personalized environment with students which I believe makes the learning process so much easier, faster, and more enjoyable. I'm here to help you realize you potential and the whole process starts and ends with you.
I've worked with kids just started out and I've worked with adults that just want to clean things up a bit.
Make sure the teacher you want to hire is capable of teaching you want you want to learn not just what the teacher has learned. Look for a teacher that makes you the only priority.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students should think about what they want to get out of this instrument and how much they are willing to do to learn it. Also understanding this a marathon not a sprint. With time anything is possible.
