I was looking for a new piano teacher for my daughter when I found Josh Ross's Music School. I decided to take my daughter there for a while, hoping that she'll regain interest in learning piano if the lessons were informative and fun. So far it seems to have worked. Josh and his teachers are all professional musicians and they know how to keep up the interest of children and teens. Even in the middle of this pandemic the music lessons have not stopped and are done at the same time as before through Zoom. My daughter is making progress and is excited to be on a video conference with her teachers. She can't wait to go back there in person, but for now what's important is that she keeps playing and learning and Josh and his team are putting a lot of effort into that. I recommend this music school to all parents who want their kids to learn music or who want to play an instrument themselves.

Josh and his entire team at J-Ro School of Music are outstanding teachers and musicians. I have attended as a vocal student for over a year now and have made tremendous progress under their guidance. Classes are easily timed with my schedule and offer great structure for learning new vocal techniques and mastering favorite songs. My impression is their other music programs (e.g., guitar, piano, etc.) are just as excellent. I would strongly recommend J-Ro School of Music to anyone interested in a guided improving their musical capabilities.

My daughter learned so much from the first day she started. The instructors are so nice and helpful. They in courage the kids to keep on trying and to never give up.

These guys are great! With all that is happening with Covid-19, they've managed to put together a very productive online lesson system. They push just the right amount to keep you constantly stepping out of your comfort zone... it's a great way to learn. Josh checks in on every lesson and keeps track of your progress. My son started piano lessons when he was 5. I was concerned because 5 year olds don't always have a great attention span. But Josh & the gang at J-RO are amazing with kids. So patient and understanding. My son's ability to concentrate on one activity has vastly improved while taking piano lessons. Now he does piano and voice and we love singing and playing together. He is eager to attend each lesson. I was concerned about the stay-at-home order and how that would effect our lessons. J-RO didn't miss a beat. They've had ZOOM lessons and my son and I participate together. It is so much fun! I would highly recommend J-RO for you and your kids to foster and expand their musical interests!

I always wanted to learn guitar, but not in a "formal" lesson book way. Josh (along with his staff) evaluated my goals, pushed/encouraged me to develop my playing abilities, and has done it with humor, passion and motivation. I couldn't have made a better choice!

The talent of the J-RO instructors and the curricula that the school provide is so unique. The school inspires their students to think creatively, not just how to play an instrument, but how to construct songs, play and connect as a band and harmonize & sync as a group.

It is an excellent school for adults, youths and children. I am a regular student since 20 months ago and I have learned a lot about music. I really like the professional level of all instructors and the interaction with all students. J-RO School of Music has helped me to reach my dream of play piano.

I have been taking vocal lessons over the past 5 years and the instructors are excellent and responsive to my needs. I also took songwriting and recording lessons/ sessions and was equally impressed with the instructors. Along the way, I have made many new friends at the school additionally . Josh personally expends a great deal of time and energy with our performances and open mics and other performance venues

J-Ro Pro is very flexible and has the needs of the students and their best interests, as a priority. Whether it be for makeup lessons, formatting/music style changes, or working in group to better accelerate learning, the staff is there to help. I've been taking voice lessons there for 4 years and will be continuing for many years to come.

My daughter is 15 and takes voice at J-RO School of Music. Owner/teacher, Josh Ross, is an energetic, passionate, positive, and supportive coach. He and his team are also very talented musicians. My daughter has grown as a singer. The team allows her to contribute to her own learning path...she works on specific songs for theatrical auditions, songs that are a stretch and she needs to work toward perfecting, technique, stage presence, performance, songs to create a "set" list or audition repertoire, etc. She receives immediate feedback during lessons from both the coaches and other students in order to work toward her music goals and improve her skills. Josh has been an amazing voice teacher for me for the past two years! He is patient and affirming, so I am encouraged to keep going, and he is challenging and detail-oriented in music, so I feel motivated to improve. Josh provides many opportunities to perform in front of an audience (some very informal, some more formal), which is a great experience. I have been taking piano lessons for nearly a year and am learning to play fun classical, pop, and rock songs. I was surprised to discover how quickly I could learn to play songs well. Josh is a great teacher.

I am thankful for all that I am learning at the J-RO School of Music. Josh is a highly-skilled teacher. He is patient and effective at showing me exactly what I need to improve my guitar playing each week. I thought I was too old to learn guitar until I saw how much my guitar playing progressed.
