About Maurice

I have a 6 year musical education, and have played at jazz festivals, Cargnie Hall and at Lincoln Center. My teaching style is specialized to accommodate each students' specific goals, while providing a solid foundation in music theory and ear training.

I am 23 years old and like to work with beginners.

I am very patient with the students. I am extremely passionate about the guitar. I am an expert in Jazz, and blues. But also teach rock, reggage, country, punk, and some other styles. I also know some piano, and a killer on drums

My teaching includes: Song Writing, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Improvisation, Performance, Guidance In Equipment Selection, Vocal Accompaniment, Jamming, Rhythm guitar, and Lead guitar.

One other thing I would like you to know is that I could just teach you something specific, for example there have been students who don't want any theory just lead guitar, and I am here for that to!

I enjoy teaching the students and giving them the same joy, I got when first learning!
