About Erika

I absolutely love how interesting history is when you understand how everything relates to each other. Once you are able to contextualize history, it becomes a heroic, tragic, hysterical drama with interesting sub plots and characters over the course of many, many seasons.

I want to help you study for your next big test or complete your latest assignment by making it interesting and fun. If that doesnt happen, I promise to at least make it memorable!

I have won several academic awards for my research in historic subjects varying from ancient to modern history across a wide range of topics. I have presented my research at conferences and am currently in my masters program for History.

About the lesson

First I ask a couple of questions to see where exactly they need assistance (ie., studying, homework help, test prep etc) and get a general idea of the class coursework (AP American History, World History, Government etc). Then I like to help the student by explaining the topic in a way that makes it relatable and digestable and answering direct questions that arise. I work with the student on the problems in a patient and detailed manner.
